When Production Begins
- Production-ready artwork, to size, reaches our factory accompanied by a
complete purchase order specifying item(s) desired, quantity, specific imprint
color(s), shipping instructions, etc.
- Payment in full is received or credit has been authorized for your
- A signed order confirmation form and artwork proof have been received
by AdVantage Line by fax or mail.
Normal production time is seven to 10 working days.
Production time begins when all of the following have occurred:
Production time does not include the day the order is received at the factory.
Please call the factory to inquire about inventory availability. We do our best
to accommodate all rush orders. Whatever it takes! Custom products may
require more production time due to the manufacturing time and complexities of
the importing process.
- Factory receipt of a complete written purchase order specifying item(s) ordered,
quantities, specific imprint color(s), shipping instructions including ship to
- Factory receipt of payment in full or approval of credit for the order.
- Factory receipt of signed artwork paper proof and order confirmation form.
All orders will be shipped using the most economical
method available, unless a specific service is requested. Drop shipments to
multiple locations will incur an additional cost of $8.00(G) per location.
AdVantage Line uses UPS, Federal Express, FedEx Ground and common carrier
trucking for shipping of all orders unless otherwise instructed. We will not be
held responsible for shipments not received due to reasons such as national
disaster, employee strikes, weather or any other reason(s) not in our direct
control. All orders are shipped F.O.B. our factory in Des Moines, Iowa unless
drop-shipped from our California warehouse. All goods lost or damaged in transit
become the sole responsibility of the freight carrier.
Buyer shall be held responsible for any cost incurred
through date of cancellation of any completed or partial order. Only written
cancellations will be accepted. No returns will be accepted without written
authorization by our factory Customer Service Representative.
Unimprinted "Blank" Products
If you desire to purchase merchandise without a logo imprint,
it will be billed at the "next quantity" price shown (ie. If you order 100
pieces, use the 250 piece price/unit). Our minimum catalog order quantities
still apply. No returns are accepted on unimprinted items without prior written
authorization. Should batteries be ordered with any blank goods, they will be
shipped separately in bulk and not placed inside individual boxes or items.
Orders for blank products must be prepaid!
For reorders, please furnish your original purchase order
number and last order date. Re-orders requiring any changes to art will be
considered new orders requiring new set-up and screen charges.
All changes to an order in progress will be charged a
$25.00(G) administration fee. Changes will affect production time. Only written
changes will be accepted.
At AdVantage Industries, we understand the need for fast
shipment of your orders. Most orders ship in 10 working days or less, but should
you require expedited shipment of your order, please call our Customer Service
Department for authorization and availability of rush service. A rush charge
may apply depending upon production schedule and complexity of the project.
Allow extra production time for orders without camera-ready artwork, orders
requiring spec samples and for large-quantity purchases. To meet specific events
it may require expedited airfreight and shipping charges for which you will be
responsible. AdVantage Industries will always provide estimates of shipping
charges, but actual billed freight costs may vary depending on carrier rates and
regulations. AdVantage Industries will make every effort to select the most
competitive freight method for every shipment.
All claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days of
receipt of goods. No merchandise will be accepted without prior
authorization and a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number issued by the
factory. We will not accept the return of goods in which a waiver of spec sample
proof was signed. No credit or replacement goods will be issued for
merchandise that is unavailable for return to factory.
Spec samples not accompanying an order will be billed at
$40.00(G) plus cost of plates or screens, art charges and cost of item.
Less than minimum orders are $40.00(G). Minimum orders
are one-half of the lowest quantity.
Plate & Set-up Charges
Plate and setup charges are one-time charges associated
with the production of your order. They include film work (pos. or neg.),
plates, screens and dies. These items will be kept on file for a period of two
(2) years. AdVantage Line is not responsible for artwork after this two-year
period. Exact reorders placed with AdVantage Line after the two-year time
period will require new setup and plate charges. Plates, molds, tooling, etc.
are to remain the sole property of AdVantage Line.
Additional Imprint Colors & Locations
All items featured in our catalog and on this website include
a one-color/one-position imprint. Additional colors and positions will add
$0.50(G) each, plus an additional setup charge of $40.00(G).
To assure prompt fulfillment of your order, all new accounts
must prepay the first order(s) until an "Open Account" status has been
established. Credit is an "earned privilege" and not assumed granted until
notified by AdVantage in writing. AdVantage Industries relies on Dun &
Bradstreet, Vendor References, and ASI Credit Direct reporting for credit
evaluation and "Open Account" determination. For orders $1000.00 or less,
AdVantage Industries will accept VISA, Mastercard, or American Express credit
cards. All orders for blank merchandise must be prepaid. Freight charges
will be estimated when order is placed, and must be prepaid with blank
merchandise orders. Establishment of an "Open Account" requires completion of a
Credit Application, and approximately 10 working days for evaluation. Rush
orders may not provide ample time for credit review, and might require
prepayment to expedite your shipment or meet deadline deliveries. NOTE:
AdVantage Industries is not responsible for late deliveries or delays caused by
assumption of "Open Account Status."
AdVantage Industries guarantees all products to be free of
defects in workmanship when leaving our factory. Unknown defects in products
will be quickly reviewed by Customer Service and replacements or repairs will be
made for up to 30 days from date of shipment from our factory. All claims
must be submitted in writing.Paper proofs are supplied for all AdVantage
Industries orders, and any errors in copy or imprint resulting from "Approved
Artwork Proof" are not covered under this guarantee. Note: Stainless steel
products are decorated with epoxy resins and should not be used in a dishwasher
since high heat will affect the permanence of the imprint.
Batteries are required for use in many AdVantage products.
Battery size, quantity required, and whether or not they are included in product
pricing is clearly marked in the catalog copy for each. Batteries will be
inserted into boxes at no additional charge when purchased or when included as
per catalog copy. Should you require batteries to be inserted into each item
purchased prior to shipment, there will be an additional cost of $.50(G) per
item. Please allow for extra time to accomplish this. Batteries purchased from
AdVantage Industries are standard metal cased dry cells. Some motorized products
perform better with Alkaline Cells and on these items we make this
recommendation in the copy. Should you desire Alkaline Cells, there will be an
additional charge as noted in catalog copy. If you desire a specific brand name
battery, we will quote you upon request. NOTE: We do not recommend inserting
batteries into products which may sit for extended periods of time (i.e. over 90
days). Leakage and discharge of the batteries may result. AdVantage Industries
will not be responsible for any product damage caused by improper use of
Missing Batteries: Occasionally, an order may ship without batteries despite our
customers request to include them. This might occur as a result of an oversight
or due to "out-of-stock" situation beyond our control. Should this occur,
AdVantage Industries will call to inform of this issue, and if through
oversight, we will attempt to ship under separate cover, or credit this battery
value on your invoice. Please note that "emergency" or "retail" battery
purchases made by customers are not the responsibility of AdVantage Industries,
Inc., and will not be reimbursed beyond the amount listed on your purchase
Prices Subject to Change
Merchandise Prices shown on this website are based upon our
current material and labor costs. All pricing is "market driven" and prices are
subject to increase or decrease without notice. Please confirm all pricing using
this website or via phone with a customer service representative.
Respect for intellectual property rights is important to
AdVantage Industries. We hold a variety of both design and function patents and
we strive to uphold the sound principals of US Patent law at all times. We
strive to purchase patented products from the actual Patent Holder and alert our
customers when we know a particular product is protected by a known patent.
Occasionally, a new patent might preclude us from selling an advertised product,
and should any new patent prevent lawful selling of any product, we cannot be
held accountable for an inability to fill an order. AdVantage Industries will
not manufacture a custom product known to have legal patent protection. Please
contact us regarding any patent issues that are of concern, and we will do our
utmost to protect intellectual property rights of others, as well as, to protect
those of our own.
