PRODUCT SAFETY: Advantage Industries is aware and concerned about product safety issues. We have formal procedures for due-diligence involving the inspection of our overseas manufacturing facilities as well as the products they produce. Where applicable, our products comply with ASTM 963 Standard Consumer Safety Specifications for Toy Safety. Custom manufacturing of non-stocked items may require additional testing and certification to comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Quoted pricing does not include the cost of additional testing and certification. Testing and/or certification can be requested by customers and accomplished at a reasonable additional cost to document that specific orders comply with various legal requirements including the European Union's Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive.
PROPOSITION 65: Products that are shipped to California are subject to Proposition 65, otherwise known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986. The decorating and printing inks used at our U.S. facilities have been fully tested, and are certified to insure they do not contain chemicals at concentrations that would present a health hazard or require a Proposition 65 warning label. For products decorated overseas and in situations where Safe Harbor Level limits have not been fully established by Proposition 65 for all materials used in our products, customers can request proper Proposition 65 warnings to be applied for a nominal fee if stipulated at the time order is placed. Additional production time may result from the application of warning labels. |
