Advantage Line is committed to providing promotional products that are of high quality, are safe to use, and that comply with applicable Federal guidelines and requirements.  We have formal procedures for due-diligence involving the inspection of our overseas manufacturing facilities as well as the products they produce.

Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA):
Recently enacted changes to consumer product safety laws impose significant responsibilities on our industry to ensure the safety of our products. AdVantage Line’s manufacturers of products intended for children 12 years or younger are required to have their products tested for compliance by certified third party testing labs.

Proposition 65:
Advantage Line’s products that are shipped to California are subject to the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 known as Proposition 65. This law governs products that expose consumers to a published list of carcinogens or reproductive toxins that are in excess of established Safe Harbor Levels.

Safe Harbor Levels have not been fully established for all materials used in our products.  Upon request, certification can be obtained from independent testing labs for specific products at an additional cost.  Customers may also request that the following warning label be applied to products ordered:

WARNING: This Product may contain chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm

This warning will ensure that the product complies with California Proposition 65 requirements.  Additional production time and changes may result from the application of warning labels.

Printing Inks
Printing inks that we use to decorate our products in the US have been fully tested and are certified to insure they do not contain chemicals at concentrations that would present a health hazard.  Registered users of this web site can view these test reports.
